Richard D. Stromback

Richard D. Stromback, 38, currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Stromback is an entrepreneur who purchased a controlling interest in Ecology in December 2003. Upon acquiring his interest, Stromback negotiated strategic relationships to license Ecology’s technology across a wide swath of markets, including the automotive, industrial and medical device markets. This included deals with DuPont, Guidant and Red Spot. Prior to Ecology, Stromback was the CEO of Web Group, a company he founded in 1997. Under Stromback’s leadership, Web Group attained award winning growth from 1997 – 2002 and was recognized by Inc. Magazine’s 2002 “Inc. 500” as #189. A regular invitee to the prestigious World Economic Forum, Stromback was named a “Young Global Leader” by the organization in 2007. Stromback holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Brandon University in Canada.

 

F. Thomas Krotine

F. Thomas Krotine, 66, currently serves President and Chief Executive Officer of Ecology Coatings and also serves on the Board of Directors. Mr. Krotine is an industry veteran with over thirty-five years of coatings industry experience. Krotine served most recently as chairman and lead investor of CV Materials, a supplier of porcelain enamel materials and coatings, where he led a turn-around and successful acquisition of the company by its primary competitor. Prior to his role at CV Materials, Krotine was the manager and principal investor of TK Holdings, which he formed to acquire equity holdings in small to medium-sized manufacturing companies, and served as vice president at Valspar Corporation where he managed the company’s North American powder coating business. Krotine also spent 10 years as a senior vice president at Sherwin-Williams Company where he was responsible for technology management and corporate environmental and health compliance. Krotine holds a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph.D. in metallurgy and materials science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

Robert W. Liebig

Robert W. Liebig, 57, currently serves as a Director of Ecology Coatings. Mr. Liebig has been the president and sole shareholder of Irish Financial Group, Inc. from 1996 to the present. Irish Financial provides financial advisory services to real estate developers, financial institutions, mortgage bankers and emerging businesses. From 1987 to 1996 he was Senior Vice President, Multi-Family/Commercial Trading Desk for Lehman Brothers, which developed and managed sales for acquiring multifamily and commercial products from insurance companies, commercial banks, thrifts and pension plans. From 1983 to 1987 he was Senior Vice President, Income Loan Division for the Chicago office of First Boston. Mr. Liebig earned his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota and his Juris Doctorate from the William Mitchell College of Law.  

 

Donald C. Campion

Donald C. Campion is a senior financial executive with multi-industry experience including implementing a major turn-around, the start-up of a one billion dollar manufacturer, and developing strategies to expand internationally through acquisition.

Mr. Campion is a member of the Board of Directors for Haynes International and also serves as the Chairman of its Audit Committee and as a member of its Compensation Committee.

Mr. Campion served as the Chief Financial Officer for VeriFone, North America's largest point of sale terminal manufacturer. In 2003 and 2004 he developed financial and operational strategies which guided this company towards growth in sales and profitability, and prepared for a possible IPO.

From 2000 to 2002 he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Special Devices, Inc. where he successfully improved the profitability and liquidity of this manufacturer. From 1999 to 2000, as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cambridge Industries. Inc., he worked closely with banks, shareholders and investment bankers to identify and execute a capitalization strategy which enabled the company to meet all its growth commitments with its customers. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Campion was the Senior Vice president and Chief Financial Officer of Oxford Automotive. Prior to this. Mr. Campion held a variety of Senior Management roles with General Motors and its affiliates.

He holds an MBA and a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
