Coatings paper coating offering includes a product that is a barrier
coating rather than repellant to water. It is actually slightly
hydrophilic. This allows the paper to be waterproof while still
being writable and printable. The offering is less expensive than
artificial water proof paper (a plastic) and is not given to
deformation under heat (as a plastic is). This coating is a 100%
solids, UV curable product, and is biodegradable. Applications for
this coating include drywall, packaging, and labeling.
