In addition, we have hundreds of application formulas developed for a variety of substrates and performance criteria that are protected as proprietary trade secrets.

We are particularly excited about our bio-based coatings. With the trend towards bio- based solutions, Ecology has identified certain new bio-based materials that function as UV-curable coatings or as bio-based photoinitiators in UV-curable systems. Our bio-based PCT patent application has been accepted with the distinction as novel and inventive. This action will allow Ecology Coatings to file for an accelerated examination for a United States patent that will most likely be issued in 2012.
